Mary Louise (Smith) Marshall

Mary Louise Marshall, age 86, of Jackson passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.

She was born July 16, 1933, in Jackson, daughter of Webster and Ada Robinson Smith.  She and Thomas Franklin Marshall were married July 16, 1955 in Sedgewickville.  He passed away December 13, 2001.

Mary was a 1950 graduate of Jackson High School and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Jackson. She was an active member of the Jackson Senior Center.

Loving survivors include two sons, Travis Marshall of Sedgewickville, Missouri and Mark Marshall of Jackson.

In addition to her husband, Thomas Marshall, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Wilson Smith; and five sisters, Erma “Dee” Williams, Thelma "Sis" Himmelsbach, Naomi Crites, Alice “Vickie” Statler and Jean Seabaugh.

The visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Bailey officiating.

Interment will be in Sedgewickville Lutheran Cemetery in Sedgewickville.

The family suggests that contributions be made to the Jackson Senior Center.
