Mary Louise Williams, age 95, of Jackson passed away Friday, December 26, 2025 at the Independence Care Center in Perryville, Missouri.
Mary was born October 23, 1930 near the Hildebrand Community in Cape Girardeau County, the beloved daughter of Ferdinand and Mary Bequette Kester.
She married Billy Robert Williams on April 7, 1950. He died March 14, 1988.
A longtime resident of Jackson, Mary was faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ and attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, where her faith guided her life and actions.
Loving her survivors include her son Michael Williams and his partner Scott; six siblings, Monroe Kester, Sediala (the late Roy) Wilke, George (Leona) Kester, Willie (the late Janet) Kester, , Sharon (Glenn) Bodenschatz, and Carol Miller; a sister, in law, Norma (the late Jimmy) Kester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mary was preceded in death by three siblings, Pearl “Jim” Kester, Mabel Blankenship, and Louise Kester.
A memorial visitation will be from 12-1 pm, Monday January 5, 2026 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The memorial service will be 1 pm, Monday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at a later date.
Mary Louise Williams will be remembered for her steadfast faith, devotion to family, and the love she shared with all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
