Mary Zeller, 82, of Jackson passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Jackson Manor.

She was born September 7, 1933, in rural Jackson, daughter of Richard C. and Addie Adkins Martin. She and Glenn E. Zeller were married November 27, 1954 in Jackson.

Mary was a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School. Shortly after she and Glenn were married, she joined the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit, where she taught the children's division Sunday school for several years, and had been an active member of the Lutheran Women Missionary League. She was a member of the University of Missouri extension clubs, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren while caring for her yard.

In addition to her loving husband of nearly 62 years, survivors include; a son, Greg (Tara) Zeller; two daughters, Jenny Zeller and Debbie (Jerry) McCullough, all of Jackson; three grandsons, Zach (Kelsey) McCullough, Andy and Matt Zeller; step-grandchildren, Gina and Brian McCullough, and Mark (Dana) McCullough; a brother, Jim (Babs) Martin of Jackson; two sisters, June Black and Margaret Ann Fields of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Elizabeth Zeller.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tilsit.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, at 11:00 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Mark Boetcher officiating.

Interment will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in Tilsit.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the church or charity of choice.
