Michael "Mike" J. Byrd, 81, of Jackson, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. Bro. Chris Collier will conduct the funeral service at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests the Missouri Veterans Home Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
