Mitchell Lee Gill

Mitchell Lee "Mitch" Gill, age 77, of Millersville, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at the Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born May 20, 1938, near Allenville, MO, the son of Hansel and Velda A. Mitchell Gill. He and Sieglinde Schenk were married in 1980.

Mitch worked for the Cape-Kil Pest Control in Cape Girardeau and then worked for Proctor and Gamble retiring in 1990. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing

In addition to his wife of 35 years he is survived by two sons, Dean Gill of Marble Hill and Brad (Wendy) Gill of Millersville; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Audrey James of Jackson and Janet Dunning of Delta.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Gill.

Friends may call Wednesday, September 9, 2015 from 4-8pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 11am, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Brian Gill officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
