Nancy Jean Hutchings

Nancy Jean Hutchings, 70, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 10, 1949 in Fredericktown, Missouri, daughter of Robert B. and Frances A. Dollinger Hutchings.

Nancy graduated from Cape Central High School; she worked for Rubbermaid and Wal-Mart in Jackson and had previously worked for the Southeast Missourian. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan and enjoyed painting.

Loving survivors include three sons Robert (Sheri) Parrish of Oak Ridge, Cliff Parrish of Jackson and Travis (Melissa) Sutton of Cape Girardeau; eight grandchildren Nikki, Dylan, Gage, MacKenzie, Jaden, Payton Tristin and Ahren.

Also surviving are three great grandchildren William, Brantley and Thomas; a sister - in -law Patricia Hutchings of Jackson, many cousins, friends and a special canine companion Reese’s.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Joseph; two brothers, Harold and Robert Hutchings.

A memorial visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

A memorial service will  start at 7 pm at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri.
