Nikki Jo Biler, 60, of Whitewater, formerly of Chaffee, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017, at her home.
She was born April 28, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, daughter to Joe Don and Edna Mae “Babe” Schlegel Grant. She and Kurt Michael Biler were married March 17, 1978.
Nikki was a 1974 graduate of Chaffee High School. She was raised in the Lutheran faith, confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
Nikki was known in the area for her many years of floral design. She had the creative talent to make everything she touched beautiful. Ceramics, stained glass, and crocheting were some of her favorite hobbies.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and canning. Her cooking and baking skills were second to none.
Loving survivors include her husband, Kurt Biler; a son, Grant Biler of St. Louis; her mother, Edna Grant of Cape; a sister, Susan (Dan) Daugherty of Gordonville; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
A celebration of her life will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the VFW Hall in Chaffee, Missouri.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri. Nikki sure loved her puppy dogs.
