Norma E. Mahannah

Norma E. Mahannah, 97, of the Chaffee formerly of Pocahontas, passed away Sunday June 21, 2015 at Chaffee Nursing Center, Chaffee, Mo.

She was born January 29, 1918, in Jackson, daughter of Arthur and Emma Kasten Kieninger. She was married to Orval Beck and later to Ray Mahannah. They both preceeded her in death. Norma was baptizted and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She worked various jobs while in the St. Louis area. She later moved from St. Louis to Mountain Home, Arkansas, and then relocated to the Jackson area in 2010.

Loving survivors include a sister, Jean Petzoldt of Pocahontas; six nephews and one niece; and many great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Nelson Kieninger.

Friends may call Thursday, June 25, 2015 from 10:00 am until time of service at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 25, 2015, at 11 am, at the church, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating.

Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pocahontas.
