Norma Jean Williams

Norma Jean (Bridges) Williams 79 of Jackson, entered eternal rest and passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026 at 8 p.m.

She was born to Doyle and Lily Turner Bridges in Blytheville, Arkansas on September 9th, 1946.

Norma retired from Cottonwood Treatment Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and also retired from Walmart Supercenter in Jackson.

Surviving family members include a sister, Sylvia Ballard; cousins, Ralph Anderson and Carolyn Kurney; children, Darlene Williams Curry, Frank A (Jennifer) Williams, and Shannon (Casey) Putney; grandchildren, Michelle Williams, MeeMee Prino, DeeDee McCoy, Kaleb Williams, Aaliyah Curry, Jasmine White and Jadon Putney; and seven Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 noon, Friday, March 6, 2026 McCombs Funeral and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The celebration of Norma’s life will be at 12 noon, Friday March the 6th, 2026 at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Although we mourn her absence, we honor her life and trust that her spirit is at Peace
