Otto Robert Boyer

Otto Robert “Butch” Boyer, 86, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026. He was born October 13, 1940 to the late Vincent Boyer and Maude (Nash) Martin in St. Louis, MO. He married the love of his life Janet (Tinnin) Boyer on September 15, 1958, in Fredericktown MO.

Otto proudly served in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army and always had an Army story to share. A devoted family man, he took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and Great-Grandchildren.

He was survived by his wife, Janet Boyer; Children, Deb (Jim) Maevers, David (Debbie) Boyer, and Joni (Brad) Walters; grandchildren, Kyleigh (Tony) Baliva, Landon (Jessica) Maevers, Trey (Catherine) Maevers, Hailey (John) Bradley, A.J. (Heather) Maevers, Delaney Boyer, Dylan Boyer, Brayden Walters, and Ava Walters; 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Vincent Boyer and Maude Martin and his siblings, Gary Martin, and Sharon Martin.

Interment will be Wednesday, November 4TH, 2026 at 1pm at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO with full military honors.
