Otto Ray Goehman

Otto R. Goehman, 78, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022, at St. Francis Medical Center.

Otto was born December 20, 1943, to Oscar "Pete" and Verna (Duncan) Goehman, in Cape Girardeau. He and Rebecca Rubel were married in 1961 in Corinth, MS. She survives.

He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar. He also enjoyed gun smithing and shooting matches.

In addition to his loving wife, Otto is survived by two children, Matthew “Matt” Goehman and Jacqueline Qualls, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren, Tiffany (Chase) Wright of Bloomfield, Tyler Goehman of Cape Girardeau, Blake Goehman of Austin, TX, Beth Goehman of Cape Girardeau, Ellis Inman of Cape Girardeau, and Jennifer Wilkens of Cape Girardeau; a brother, William Goehman of Paducah, KY; a sister, Delma Weiss of Gordonville; a nephew and friend, Billy Goehman of Millersville; a niece and friend, Tamela Jones of Cape Girardeau; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, Oscar Goehman, Robert "Bob" Goehman, Ernest Goehman, and two infant sisters.

A memorial visitation will be held, Thursday, March 10, 2022, from 4-6 PM at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
