Paul F. Drum, 88, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at his home in Fruitland.

He was born September 12, 1937, in Millersville, Missouri, to Wilson K. and Viola Stearns Drum. He and Anna Marie (Biri) Gerler were married March 22, 1997.

Paul was a lifelong over-the-road truck driver and honorably served 10 years in the Missouri Army National Guard.

He was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Fruitland. He enjoyed yard work, vegetable and flower gardening, and fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Anna Marie Drum of Fruitland; children, Terry Drum of Patton, Missouri and Lori Vails of Jackson; Anna Marie’s children, Kathy Ann (Dusty) Whittley of Advance; Saundra Faye (Eric) Flanagan of Millersville; Brenda Kaye (Matthew) Carr of Summerville, South Carolina; Brian Jess (Robin) Gerler of Stanley, Virginia; and 14 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Elmer and Ronald Drum, and Shirley A. Bollinger.

Dr. Rodney Pensel will conduct a graveside service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

If considering a memorial contribution, the family suggests St. John’s United Church of Christ.
