Pauline Marie Allers, 83, of Altenburg, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Perry in Perryville, Missouri.
Born October 24, 1942, in Perry County, Missouri, to Reinhold M. and Irene Erna (Schilling) Schirmer, Pauline was an only child.
Pauline was baptized November 8, 1942, and confirmed April 14, 1957, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. She and Charles Allers were married May 8, 1965, at Wittenburg, Missouri. They had been married 44 years when Charles passed away June 26, 2009. Two children were born to their union, Anna and Paul.
Pauline worked over 11 years as a cook at the Wayside Restaurant in Jackson, and 14 years at Frontier Kitchen in Fruitland.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson; the Lions Club; Cape County Coon Hunters; and Egypt Mills Tractor Club. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, and craft work.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Anna (Timmy) Cook, and a son, Paul Allers, both of Altenburg; two granddaughters, Kristie (Robert) Hoxsey of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Shania (Josh) Wooton of Wittenburg; and five great-grandchildren, Katherine, Katrina, Abigail, Nathaniel, and Jacob.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
A memorial visitation will be held from from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, January 4, 2026, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The Rev. Joshua Schmidt will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m., Sunday, January 4, at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, where Pauline will be laid to rest next to her Charles.
