Peter Ray Bollinger, age 66, of Jackson passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born January 5, 1959 to Joe H. and Myrtle Weibrecht Bollinger. He and Della Stoner were married May 3, 1980.
Ray was a graduate of Meadow Heights High School near Patton, Missouri. He owned and operated Ray’s Pole Barns several years serving many customers in the area. He and his wife Della started Hubble Creek Antiques and Crafts in Jackson. Ray later would volunteer his time at the Apostolic Promise Church Clothing Closet in Cape Girardeau. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was also known to be a prankster.
Loving survivors include his wife of over 45 years, Della; his children, Eric (Jenny) Bollinger, Sarah (Alberto) Quino, and Casey (Daniel) Young, all of Jackson; grandchildren, Hailey, Autumn, Colten, Lilly, Hannah, Kenleigh, and Tessa Bollinger, Austyn and Jaden Quino and Noah Young; siblings, Sam (Peggy) Bollinger and Carol Bollinger of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Ron (Wendy) Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, Steve (Vickie) Bollinger and Janet (Mike) Hampton of Jackson and Margie Schoppa of Cape Girardeau; and many nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Lynn Bollinger and a sister Ellen Hampton.
A visitation will be from 9-11 am Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at the Apostolic Promise Church in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 am at the church with Rev. Timothy Lee officiating.
Burial will be in the Bollinger Cemetery near Sedgewickville at 2:15 pm.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Apostolic Promise Church Clothing Closet.
