Phyllis N. Limbaugh

Phyllis N. Limbaugh, 89, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2023, at her home.

She was born November 28, 1933, in Pocahontas, Missouri, to Leo G. and Adabelle Hintman Reisenbichler Sr. Phyllis was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas, also the church of her lifelong membership, and marriage. She was an 8th grade graduate of Zion Elementary School and a 1952 graduate of Jackson High School.

Phyllis and Rex Weldon Limbaugh were married February 27, 1954. Two children, Beverly and Doug were born to their union. They had been married 44 years when Rex passed away February 8, 1999.

Phyllis was employed at the Jackson Hosiery Mill, Lenco Electronics, and the Lutheran Home. After retirement, she worked part-time in the dining room at McDonalds.

Phyllis cherished her great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She especially enjoyed watching wrestling on tv.

Loving survivors include her son, Doug (Carol) Limbaugh of Jackson; two grandsons, Lance (Lindsey) Limbaugh of Benton, Missouri, and Todd (Brittany) Limbaugh of Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Caroline, Clara, Rhett, and Leo; and a sister-in-law, Paula (the late David) Reisenbichler of Jackson.

She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Beverly Limbaugh; a great-grandson, Weldon Limbaugh; and two brothers, David Reisenbichler and Leo "Jr." (Diana) Reisenbichler.

Visitation is from 12:30 to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 16, 2023, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The Rev. Virgil Kelm will conduct the funeral service at 2 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Phyllis will be laid to rest next to Rex, at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
