Richard R. Conley, 81, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Mercy Hospital Southeast.
He was born on July 20, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, son of William and Virginia Crader Conley. He and Patricia Randol were married on August 1, 1964.
Richard was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson and the Knights of Columbus. He served in the United States Navy. Richard was an avid deer hunter and always enjoyed deer camp. He worked at General Sign for over 30 years as an electrician. After retirement, he enjoyed woodworking.
Loving survivors include his wife of 60 years, Patricia Conley of Jackson; two daughters, Monica (Ed) Dalton of St. Peters and Tamara (Ed) Brown of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, Dustin (Logan) Dalton, Dillon (Alyssa) Dalton and Dallas Dalton all of St. Peters; two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Nora Dalton; and a sister, Linda (Jerry) Jansen of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Michael Conley; and a sister, Bonnie Butler.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 10:30 on Friday, June 20, 2025, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Father Randolph Tochtrop will conduct the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
The family suggests that contributions be made to Breakthrough T1D (Juvenile Diabetes), Immaculate Conception Church or the American Lung Association.
