Robert J. Baugh, 60, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, at his home in Jackson.

He was born August 7, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, to Robert and June Martin Baugh. He and Carole Ladreiter were married October 15, 1977, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.

Bob was a 1972 graduate of Jackson High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University. His employment included the former Spirit Shop in Jackson; the former Disc Jockey and Stereo One both in Cape Girardeau; and Pocahontas Lumber Co. in Jackson, since March 1996.

Bob was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. He previously served several years as a scout leader of Troop 311 in Jackson and was a Vigil Honor Member of Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed gardening and cooking, and was an avid trout fisherman.

Loving survivors include his wife of 37 years, Carole of Jackson; two children, Gabe (Alicia) Baugh and their son Jack, Maggie (Geoff) Enders, all of Jackson; his mother, June Black of Jackson; two brothers, Stephen (Theresa) Baugh of Jackson, Clyde (Cheryl) Baugh of St. Louis; several nieces and nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Rodney and Nancy Ladreiter of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Baugh in 1985; and a sister, Patricia Baugh in 2013.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 23, 2015, from 9 AM to service time, at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, at noon, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to The Jason Motte Foundation, P.O. Box 241520 Memphis, Tennessee 38124; Boy Scout Troop 311 in Jackson; or the American Cancer Society.
