Ronald Lee Koehler

Ronald Lee Koehler, age 82, passed away on Saturday, August 15,2026 at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

On March 4,1944 in Cape Girardeau, MO he was born to the late Charles “Bud” and Gusta Wedekind Koehler.

Ronald married his best friend, Norma Jean Deimund on February 11, 1966, and she preceded him in death on March 9, 2021.

Ronald in his younger years spent time raising and selling chickens, and doing plumbing work. Later on, he worked for the Cape County Highway Department until his retirement.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna (Kevin) Pulliam of Fruitland, MO; his brothers: Rick Koehler of Jackson, MO and Joe Koehler of Texas; his sister Judy Dale of Jackson, MO; sister in law, Linda Koehler or Pennsylvania; his grandchildren: Cody Koehler of Millersville, MO, Caleb Koehler of Marble Hill, MO, Nickey Powell of South Carolina, Krystal Koehler of Cape Girardeau, MO, Taylor Powell of Jackson, MO, Jacob (Desiree) Koehler of Jackson, MO, Hunter Koehler of Cape Girardeau, MO, Jacob (Taylor) Pulliam of Florida, Zoie (Max) Brophy of Florida, and eleven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Norma, parents’ Bud and Gusta, sons: Wyatt and Dale Koehler, brothers: Charles (Wanda) Koehler, Danny Koehler, Doug Koehler, brother-in-law Gene Dale, and sister-in-law Genevia Koehler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, MO. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Sam Rothemeyer officiating.

Interment will follow at the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, MO.

Pallbearers will be Cody Koehler, Caleb Koehler, Jacob Koehler, Nickey Powell, Steve Smith and Mike Welker.
