Rowland L. Julian, 92, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wed. Sept. 26, 2018 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 1, 1925 in Jackson Michigan. He and Alice Sanders were married Oct. 7, 1978. She passed away June 21, 2005.

Rowland was raised by his grandmother in Michigan. He earned his Eagle Scout before joining the U. S. Navy. After his service he went to work at Aeroquip Corporation in Jackson, MI as a Mechanical Engineer. His love of antiques lasted for forty years, buying, selling and refurbishing.

Loving survivors include his daughter Judy Loy of Evergreen, CO and a son Timothy Julian of Yampa CO.

A social hour will be held from 1 p.m. to service time, Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.

Inurnment will be at Oakdale Cemetery near Commerce, Missouri at a later date.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
