Russell Gene Yarbro

Russell Gene Yarbro, 57, of Cape Girardeau, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at his home.

Russell was born June 17, 1963 in Chaffee, MO, to Larry and Donna King Yarbro. He and Christina Hoffman were married April 4, 1996. She survives.

Russell graduated from high school in 1981 and then went into welding at Job Corps. Before starting to work on the boat in 1984, he worked for various companies.  In 1994, he went into the construction trade a working at Daughton Enterprises.  From 2004 till present, he owned and operated Yarbro Roofing and Remodeling.  He was a family man, devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, and friend.

Loving survivors include, his wife, Christina Yarbro of Cape; daughter; Jessica (Jordan) Cracraft; son, Clinton (Shelby Davis) Yarbro; daughter, Alana Hoffman; daughter, Kalli Yarbro and her fiancé ‘Tyler Centers; daughter, Abbigail Yarbro; son, Peter Yarbro; son, John Yarbro; son, Andrew Yarbro; daughter, Lillian Yarbro; four grandchildren; Kaiden Cracraft, Keller Cracraft, Jace Yarbro, and Aaliyah Yarbro; his mother, Donna Yarbro; four brothers; Kevin (Karen) Yarbro, Tim (Linda) Yarbro, Larry Don (Edna) Yarbro, Floyd (Cathy) Yarbro; his sister; Candy (Larry) Hendricks; his mother in law, Jackie Hoffman; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Russell was preceded in death by his father, Larry Yarbro and father-in-law, Jerome Hoffman.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4 – 8 pm at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 21, 2021 at 10 am at the funeral home, with Father Allan Saunders officiating.

Burial will be in Lorimer Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be made to family to assist with Russell’s final arrangements.
