Ruth Naomi (Brown) Walker

R uth Naomi Walker, 91, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born October 11, 1933, in Cape Girardeau, to Frank and Mary Elizabeth O'Howell Brown. She and David Earl Walker were married July 27, 1950, in Cape Girardeau. They had been married 62 years when David passed away August 12, 2012. Ruth worked as a cashier in the cafeteria at Southeast Hospital. Loving survivors, all of Cape Girardeau, include a daughter, Kathy Walker; daughter-in-law, Paula Walker; grandchildren, Elizabeth Renae (Aaron) Crisler and James Christopher Stroud; and great-grandchildren, Mykal and Jaykob Crisler. She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Keith Earl and David Scott Walker; her parents; and brothers, James and Harold Brown. The Rev. Rick Broniste conducted a private graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau. Arrangements by McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
