Shane Lynn Goodwin

Shane L. Goodwin of Jackson, passed away Monday April 20, 2026 at SSM Health Hospital in St Louis.

He was born June 11, 1972, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Terry Goodwin and Laura Kruger Beaubouef.

During high school, Shane made state in Tennis during his senior year.

Shane married Jessica Martin on September 1, 2007 in Jackson and together they built a loving life rooted in family.

Shane worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a very loving father and his world was his kids.

Loving survivors include his parents Terry Goodwin and Laura Kruger Beaubouef, his loving spouse Jessica and his children Eli, Ani, and Emi; a half brother Christopher Cody Goodwin and family; and a half sister, Courtney (Demare) Goodwin and family.

He was preceded in death by is grandparents Howard Taliaferro, Margaret Daenen and Janelle Goodwin.

A memorial visitation is from 10 am to 11:30 am on Friday the 24th at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Following visitation, the Rev. Brandon Tanksley will conduct the memorial service starting at 11:30 am at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
