Sharon A. (Sloat) Harris

Sharon Harris, 74, of Jackson, Missouri passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born August 10, 1947 in Cheboygan, MI to the late Sherman Russell and Beatrice Webster Sloat. Sharon and Harold Harris were married June 12, 1965 in Michigan. Sharon graduated from Inland Lakes High School in Indian River, MI in 1965 she married Harold in June of that year. She and Harold made their home and raised their family for many years in Afton, MI before moving to Missouri in 1990. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She was 4 H leader for 20 years and an avid horse lover. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Rebels. Survivors include her husband of 57 years Harold, three daughters Palmi (Kevin) Henry, Laura (Paul) Pollard both of Jackson and Tamara (Corey) Ward of Topinbee, MI, a son Darren Harris of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; Rose, Ethan, Aaron, Brittany, Bailey, Ashlynn, Savanna and Caroline. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Thompson.
