Sheri D. Farmer

Sheri D. Farmer, 56, of Jackson, MO, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau, MO, after a long battle of cancer with her family surrounded by her side.

She was born September 11, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Dorman (Fuz) and Louise Kirk Luter. She was happily married to John E. Farmer Jr. for 35 years. They were joined in holy matrimony on April 12, 1980. They moved to Jackson from Breckenridge, Missouri, in 1993, where she lived out the remainder of her life.

Her survivors include her loving husband, John; three children: Heather (John) Karnes of Cape Girardeau, MO, Ashley (Duran) Engler of Oak Ridge, MO, and Alicia Farmer (Brian Wolfenkoehler) of Jackson, MO.; her five grandchildren Nicholas Karnes, Nathan Karnes, Madison Walker, Noah Engler, and Elliette Engler, her two sisters; Brenda Stone and Marsha (Larry) Miller and all of her nieces and nephews, plus countless family and friends. .

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 3 -6 pm at McCombs Funeral home and Cremation Center in Jackson, MO.

Memorial service will be Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at 6 pm at the funeral home,

with Larry Miller officiating.

Inurnment will follow at a later date.
