Shirley Mae Hunter, age 91, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019 at Cape Town Nursing Facility in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was born February 20, 1928 at Jefferson City, MO daughter of Ray W. and Mattie F. Owens Miles Sr. She married Robert P. Hunter and he preceded her in death January 2, 1999.
Loving survivors include six grandchildren; Matthew (Zoe) Smith, Scott Smith, Laura (Clifton) Gentry, Stephanie (Travis) Olsen, Andrew (Sarah) Smith and Aubrey (Kaleb) Ward; and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her four children.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 6-8 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at St. John’s United Church of Christ Cemetery in St. Charles, Missouri.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Church or Charity of Donor’s choice.
