Sibra J. Glover, age 70, of Jackson, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 22, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Tony and Janet Taylor VanAmburg.
Sibra had worked at the former Litz Poultry plant in Jackson and both locations of the former A & W’s in Jackson.
Loving survivors include two children, Dennis (Mary) Hastings of Jackson and Roger Hastings of Mayfield, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Nigel Hastings (Rae Haven), Kaleb Propst, Taylor Hastings, Cassey Propst, Benjamin Hastings and Michael Hastings; two great-grandchildren, Maverick Diebold and Addisyn Haven; four siblings, Albert (Elvira) VanAmburg of Germany, Vaughn VanAmburg and Jimmy VanAmburg of Jackson, and Debra (Kenny) Thele of Marble Hill, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her stepfather, John Dalton.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, with the Rev. Stan Hargis officiating.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital was an organization that Sibra held close to her heart. She would have appreciated any memorial contributions be made to this organization in her name.
