Stanley Holland

Stanley Wade Holland, 81, of Jackson passed away Monday, August 22, 2022 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 29, 1941 in Wolf Island, Missouri, son of Pearl "Doc" and Nettie Belle Husk Holland. He and Virginia Meyers were married November 1, 1958 in Wolf Island. Stanley owned and operated Holland Plumbing in Jackson for 38 years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping and enjoyed working on the farm. Loving survivors include his wife, Virginia Holland of Jackson; two sons Mike (Michelle) Holland of Anchorage, Alaska and Mark (Roberta Jansen) Holland of Leopold, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Michael and Christopher Carter both of Anchorage, Leslee Wood of Cape Girardeau, David Holland and Nicholas Holland both of Anchorage, Samantha Killian of O'Fallon, Missouri, Derek Holland of Wentzville, Missouri and Shelbee Miller of Leopold. Also surviving are six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Sherman Holland. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Entombed will follow in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
