Steve Thomas Frakes

Steven Thomas Frakes, 56 of Jackson, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 19, 1965 in Kennett, Missouri the son of Kenneth R. and Mary Harris Frakes. He married Shirley Vaughn April 17, 2021.

Steve was a graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School in Senath, Missouri. After high school he started a career as an over the road truck driver, most recently driving for Genesis Trucking Company in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include his wife Shirley; daughter, Jennifer (Chuck) Fox; and two grandsons, Jesse and Christian.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 11 am until 2 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
