Sue Craig

Susan Mary "Sue" Craig, age 64, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born August 17, 1952, in St. Louis, daughter of Rufus and Alma Holzum Claspill. She and Michael Rayford Craig were married September 15, 1973 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Sue was a 1970 graduate of Ritenor High School in St. Louis. She worked for Ralph Edward Sports Ware, Saint Francis Medical Center and Cape Radiology, all in Cape Girardeau. Sue was a fan of Cardinal Baseball and was a member of Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.

Loving survivors include her husband of 43 years, Mike Craig of Jackson; a son, Michael Craig of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, James "Jim" (Bonnie) Claspill of St. Charles, Missouri, Robert (Kathy) Claspill of San Antonio, Texas, Rich Claspill of St. Louis, Missouri; four sisters, Diane (Tim) Hess of Memphis, Tennessee, Linda (Glen) Davis of St. Charles, Nancy (Mike) Gann of Farmington, Missouri and Charlene (Harold) Maxey of St. Louis; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The visitation will be from 4 to 6:45 p.m. Monday, March 13, 2017 in chapel A of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, with a rosary at 6:45 p.m. led by St. Ann's Sodality. A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. Monday with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
