Tamara “Tammy” Lynn Frazier, 68, passed away Sunday, June 14th, 2026, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

She was born February 17th, 1958, in Geneseo, Illinois, to Dwayne and Mary Ann (Anderson) Maeltzer. She was a 1976 graduate of Geneseo High School. She and Donald were married April 16th, 1983. Two daughters were raised between them, Tyra (Gregory) Hunt of Auburndale, Florida, and Amber Riggs of Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Tammy worked as a switchboard operator for many years. Later, she became a medical records clerk, but overall, she enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. Tammy had a passion for cooking, baking, making beautiful quilts, as well as a talented seamstress. Tammy and Donald’s greatest joy was spending time with their family.

Loving survivors include her beloved husband; Donald Ray Fraizer; her loving mother, Mary Ann Maeltzer, a brother; Scott Maeltzer of North Carolina; two beautiful daughters; Tyra and Amber, and cherished grandchildren, Zana Riggs, and Fisher Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her father; Dwayne Lee Maeltzer

To honor Tammy’s life, a Memorial Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, June 26th, 2026, at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM Friday, June 26th, at the funeral home.
