Tamara Sue (Tammy/TK) Silvey, 55, peacefully passed away, Friday, December 10, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born December 17, 1965, Potosi, Missouri daughter of Sandra Sue Mercer and Joseph Wayne Silvey. She shared her love and life with Laura Pridemore, longtime companion of over 20 years. Tammy (TK) spent most of her life in the Cape Girardeau, Missouri area after leaving Potosi as a young girl. She worked in real estate for many years and in many of the family's businesses. She made many close friends in her lifetime and claimed a large extended family that she held close to her heart. She was a long-time auxiliary member of the Cape Girardeau Eagles where she volunteered her time and contributed towards many charities and fundraisers. She was a member of the APA Pool League which included a trip to the National APA Tournament in Las Vegas, NV. She was a HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed going to the games with her friends. She loved God and was a prayer warrior. Her most favorite things in life were spending time with her grandchildren and boating at the lake. Tammy (TK) was truly kind and had a huge heart that she shared with so many people. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Loving survivors include Companion, Laura Pridemore of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Amos (Melinda) Pridemore of Cape Girardeau, and Micheal (Lara) Pridemore of Malden, Missouri; two brothers, Chris (Bridgett) Wheeler of Cape Girardeau and Jeff Melton of Potosi; a sister, Joy (John) Skiles of Mineral Point, Missouri; two grandchildren, Payton and Gabriel Pridemore of Malden and stepmother Sharon Silvey of Potosi. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, Austin, Derek and Colton Wheeler and Mary Ellen (Doug) Lawson, Mike Skiles, Ashley (Cody) James, Joshua and Jackson Melton and several great nieces and great nephews. Tammy (TK) is proceeded in death by her father, Wayne Silvey; mother, Sandra Donley; grandparents and several aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service and Dinner will be held Saturday Dec. 18th at 4:00 PM in the event hall at the Fraternal Order of Eagles located at 321 N. Spring Street, Cape Girardeau, Missouri. A Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow.
