Ted "Teddy Bear" Farrow

Ted William “Teddy Bear” Farrow, age 68, passed away surrounded by family at his home on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Jackson, MO.

On October 5, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, MO he was born to John and Fannie Abernathy Farrow.

Ted was a lifelong timber cutter, who continued to carry on his family’s business of timber cutting until his retirement. He was an active member of New Bethel Baptist Church and he shared his faith in Jesus and his love for others with everyone he met.

Ted is survived by his mother, Fannie Farrow; daughter, Brandy Farrow; two sisters, Joane (Darren) Whitledge and Judy (Rick) Lunsford; and two brothers, Greg (Rhonda) Farrow and Don (Sandy) Farrow, all of Jackson, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ted was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Bill Farrow, and two brothers, Ron and David Farrow as well as his special friend, Earlene Lunsford.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at New Bethel Baptist Church, near Pocahontas, MO. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church, with the Rev. Zach Rohman officiating. A private family inurnment will take place later.
