Vera Kathleen (Cunningham) Beck

Vera Kathleen “Kay” Beck, 94, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023. She was born in Steele, MO, on January 5, 1929, to John Issac and Ola (Couch) Cunningham.

She married Fredrick Beck and lived in Richmond, IN for 43 years. She was employed by Earlham College for 27 years.

Survivors include her sister, Geneva Ottinger; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Cunningham; nephews, Terry (Diane) Ottinger, Tracy Cunningham, and Scott Cunningham; a niece, Donna Safley; a special friend, Dan Neely; and numerous Chateau Girardeau friends.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a sister, Naomi Long; her brothers, Gerald Cunningham and Kenneth Cunningham; and her brother-in-law, Ralph Ottinger.

A private service will be held at a later date.
