Vernice L. Howard

Vernice L. "Bunny" Howard, age 90 of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born July 4, 1925 in Advance, MO, daughter of Emanuel and Verda Norman Musgraves. She and Vincent Lee "Wink" Howard were married October 12, 1946. He preceded her in death October 2, 1991.

Bunny was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church near Fruitland. She was a former public school teacher and worked on the family farm. She also loved her family very much.

Loving survivors include a son, Mark (Susan) Howard of Jackson; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Tyler Howard of Jackson; and a brother Ferral Musgraves of Marshall, MO.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister.

. Friends may call Sunday, December 27th, from 12 pm til 2 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be Sunday 2 pm at the funeral home with the Pastor Greg King officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
