Walter “Rick” Richard Romanowski age 55, passed away on March 15, 2021, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Round Rock, TX surrounded by his wife and children.

He was born September 21,1965, in Wyandotte, MI., to Arthur R Romanowski and his late mother, Bonnie Zuane Romanowski.

On June 15, 2013, he married Cynthia G Alfultis in Oak Ridge, MO. Other survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Brandon and Bethany Schaefer of Hutto, TX; daughter and son-in-law Tiffani and Alan Stone of Tyler, TX; daughter, Chelsea Romanowski of Buda, TX; stepdaughter, Ashley Kraemer of Falcon, MO and stepson Mitchell Baltzell of Cape Girardeau, MO. He has two brothers Christopher Romanowski of Dixon, MO and Arthur A Romanowski of New Market, IA; a sister Donna Romanowski of Dixon, MO, and brother-in-law, Doug York of Dixon, MO. He has 10 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn York, his son, Zane Dixon; and his granddaughter, Dailee Anne Schaefer.

A visitation will be Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 11a.m.-12p.m. at Williamson County Cowboy Church in Liberty Hill (8355 Ranch Road 1869 Liberty Hill, TX 78642.) Funeral service will be at the church immediately following. Rick will then be transported to Missouri where there will be an additional visitation and service held at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The visitation will be Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 11 a.m. to until service time in Chapel A at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
