Wanda Gaulding

Wanda Ann Gaulding, age 90, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Hubble Creek Nursing Center in Jackson, MO.

On June 29, 1935, in Hayti, MO, she was born to the late W.C. Clifford Kirby and Carolyn Dale Kirby.

Wanda had spent several years working for License Bureau in Jackson, MO and then later retired from Cracker Barrel.

She loved to smile and laugh. Her proudest accomplishments were being a preschool teacher and Sunday school teacher. She also loved to garden and plant flowers.

Wanda is survived by six daughters: Terri Bogues of Jackson, MO, Lesle and Mark Reynolds of Louisiana, Kim Gaulding of Cape Girardeau, MO, Robyn Hitch of Louisiana, Kelly Taylor of Cape Girardeau, MO, Kathy and Rick Ziegler of Jackson, MO; one son Brandon and Kimi Gaulding of Virginia; one sister: Pam Bain of Scott City, MO; fifteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Jeane Smith, Debbie Siefert, and Teresa Davidson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, MO from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Most importantly, the family would like to thank the entire staff of Hubble Creek Nursing Center for all of their care and kindness.

A private family interment will be held later.
