Wanda Keesee

Wanda L. Keesee, age 86, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026, at Jackson Manor.

On October 29, 1936, she was born to the late Raymond and Ruth (Pipin) Roe in Whitewater, MO.

She and David Keesee were united in marriage on June 25, 1965, in Cape Girardeau, MO. He preceded her in death on February 21, 2026.

David was born on September 23,1936 in Ilmo, MO to the late Elmer and Carmaleta (Porter) Keesee. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Wanda and David shared a life and marriage that spanned sixty years before his passing.

Survivors include her four sister: Bertha Foster of Jackson, MO, Judy Poe of Cape Girardeau, MO, Nelda Ireland of Jackson, MO, Brenda (Terry) Surwillo of Fenton, MO; two brothers: Jerry (Mary) Roe of Cape Girardeau, MO and Donald (Hung Li) Roe of Tyler, TX, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond & Ruth, her husband David, and one brother John Roe.

Visitation will be on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, MO from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour of 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow in the Grassy-Friendship Cemetery in Grassy, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations in Wanda & David's  memory be made to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
