Wanda Mouser

Wanda Mae Mouser, age 88 of Jackson, passed away Friday, June 09, 2017 at Jackson Manor.

She was born August 13, 1928 in Jackson, daughter of Emery and Bessie Masters Slinkard. She and Earl Mouser were married October 2, 1948. He passed away January 10, 1995.

Wanda worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill for 20 years and Lenco in Jackson for ten years. She was a member of Millersville United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary of Jackson Lodge.

Loving survivors include two sons, Brian and Bruce (Dena) Mouser both of Jackson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mamie Gibbs of Jackson and Carolyn (J.D.) Collins of St. Charles, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents,; her husband, Earl; a son, Terry Wayne Mouser and a brother-in-law, Johnny Gibbs.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, June 10. 2017 in chapel B at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. Janet Hopkins officiating.

Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
