William Fisher Johnson

William "Bill" Fisher Johnson, 90, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at his residence.

Bill was born December 30, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Paul and Helen Fisher Johnson. He and Flossie Moore were married on October 14, 1978, in Cook County, IL. Their union blessed them with four children, Robert Johnson of Allen, TX, Mike Johnson of Hoffman Estates, IL, Lorrie Flemming of Polk City, FL and Mike Faircloth of Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Bill was an all-around worker. There was no job too big or too small for him to accomplish.

In addition to his wife of 44 years, and his four children, Bill is survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; a niece and two nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Johnson.

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights, IL.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
