Wilma J (Loy) Workman

Wilma J. Workman, 77, of Jackson, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Wilma was born in Farina, Illinois, daughter of Roy Lee and Imagene Hawkey Loy.

She was married to Robert “Bob” Workman. He passed away July 27, 2016.

Wilma was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Loving survivors include three children, David Workman of Illinois, Debbie (Curtis) Pingel of Missouri, and Rodney Workman of Missouri; and seven grandchildren, James Statler, Kate Workman, Chris Workman, Danellie Bettinger, Zac Bettinger, Brittney Bettinger, and Logan (Heather) Hernandez, and five great grandchildren, Adriana and Aden Hernandez, and Wesley, Brentley and Adaline Bettinger.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, her parents, and a grandson, Justten Stratton.

The family has entrusted McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson for Wilma’s final arrangements. There will be no services as per Wilma’s request.
