Wilma Ruth Tesson, 89, of Jackson, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.
She was born August 17, 1927 in Bismarck, Missouri, daughter of Clyde and Lorene Meadows Peterman. She and Lowell Miinch were married and they had five children. Later in life, she married Frank Tesson. He passed away August 23, 2009.
Wilma worked for Thorngate textile manufacturing in Cape Girardeau as a top stitcher. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Jo (Jay) Mitchem of Patton, Missouri, Vicki Ambrose of Bethalto, Illinois; three sons, John (Vickie) Miinch of Sedgewickville, Missouri, Harold (Paulette) Miinch of Patton, Doug Miinch of Jackson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three step-children, Mike (Carol) Tesson of O'Fallon, Missouri, Diana Barton and companion Jim of Warrenton, Missouri, and Vicky (Dave) Blaser of Swanee, Florida.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Gary Ambrose, an infant grandchild, an infant great-grandchild, a sister, and two brothers.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Rock International Ministries, 502 W. Main Street, Suite E, Jackson, MO 63755 or Crown Hospice.
McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson is in charge of arrangements.
