Charles M. Richardson, 73, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.
Charles was born August 31, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to Oscar and Ruth (Jaques) Richardson. He and Elizabeth Rose Shuffit were married October 28, 1978, in Scott City, MO.
Charles was a veteran of the United States Air Force having enlisted September 15, 1967, and honorably discharged at the rank of Seargent on September 14, 1971.
Charles retired from Bilfinger as a general foreman for over thirty years. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting deer and turkey.
In addition to his loving wife of 43 years, Elizabeth Rose Richardson, he is survived by three children, Joseph (Cindy Lou) Kelley of Altenburg, Missouri, Amber (Rick McCain Jr.) Richardson of Scott City, and Gary Paul (Becky) Kelley of Gatesville, Texas; four grandchildren, Kassidy Jones of Cape Girardeau, Jossie Jones of Scott City, and Victoria and Nathan Kelley of Gatesville, TX; five siblings, Jerry (Maureen) Richardson of Arizona, Jacqueline (Fred) Stewart of Cape Girardeau, Yvonne (Gayle) Call of Fort Charlotte, Florida, John (Elaine) Richardson of Cape Girardeau, and Will (Mary) Richardson of Jackson.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Joseph Richardson and a nephew, Danny Richardson.

Visitation will be from 11 am until time of service, Monday, May 2, 2022, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm, Monday May 2, 2022, at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Penny officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with full Military Honors.
