Diana Robinson Obituary

Diana Lynne Robinson, 64, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at her home.

She was born August 24, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Robert Lee and Marilyn Sperling McLemore. She and Tad Robinson were married June 27, 1981 in Branson, Missouri.

Diana graduated from the School of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri;  she enjoyed substitute teaching in Illinois, loved volunteering her time and talents as assistant librarian at Scott Air Force Base Elementary in Illinois, and loved running the Scholastic Book Fair Program there. Diana also volunteered through the Church Caring Place with the United Methodist Church in Nashville, Ga. She and Tad were transferred to several Air Force bases throughout the United States, including Alaska, Nevada, Illinois, and Georgia.

Loving survivors include her husband of 38 years, Tad Robinson of Jackson, a son, Richard Scott Robinson,  a daughter, Sarah Breannae Robinson, her mother, Marilyn Whitmore of Jackson, step mother, Darlene McLemore of Jackson, two sisters, Theresa (David) Hopkins of Jackson, and Robin (Chris) Miller of Annapolis, Missouri, two brothers, John (Vicki) McLemore and Joe (Jennifer) McLemore both of Cape Girardeau. Diana had a large, loving extended family and will be greatly missed by many.

 She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McLemore and stepfather, Joe Whitmore.

A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later date. McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson are in charge of arrangements
