Ginger Norlene Masters, 63, formerly of Columbia, Missouri, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at her home in Cape Girardeau.
Ginger was born July 24, 1957, in Bitburg, Germany, daughter of Clair and Barbara Kleespies Lloyd. She and David Masters were married May 28, 1977. They were married 28 years when he passed away March 3, 2005.
She was a 1975 graduate of Mission High School in Fremont, California. Ginger was an eclectic collection of wonderment. She was an interior designer, seamstress, and homemaker who had a love for family, music, friends, and cooking. Camping was an enjoyment, as well as an occasional light “political sparing match.” She did her duty to preserve nature, and was enamored with the Notorious RBG (Ruth Bader Ginsburg).
Loving survivors include her children, Brian (Lori) Fager, Cecily Masters, Phillip Masters, Spencer Masters, Rachel Masters, Samuel (Loren) Masters, Trevor Masters and Katie (Cory) Masters; and siblings, Kimberly Lloyd-Stewart, Greg Lloyd, and Heidi Newbold.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Willow Masters, Layla Fliege, Ella Fliege, Otto Masters, Milo Masters, Azalea Silvers, Athena Silvers, Marshall Fager, and Audrey Fager; and her niece, Holly Bown.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Barbara Lloyd, and her mother-in-law, Mary Louise Masters.
A celebration of Ginger’s life will be held at a later date.
