Glenn Edward Darnell

Glenn Edward Darnell, 57, of Jackson, passed away Tuesday December 14, 2021, at his residence.

He was born March 8, 1964, to Donald and Goldie Green Darnell. 

Glenn attended New McKendree United Methodist Church. He especially enjoyed coloring and spending time with his family.

Glenn is survived by his father Don; a sister, Janette (Ron) Hobeck of Daisy; two nephews, Kyle Hobeck and Darrin Hobeck (Crystal Edwards) both of Daisy; a niece, Stacy Beckerman (Zach Robinson) of Daisy; a great-nephew, Konnor Hobeck of Daisy; two great-nieces, Ally Beckerman and Hayden Robinson, both of Daisy; and numerous aunts and uncles. 

Glenn was preceded in death by his loving mother, Goldie, and his father, Don passed away Monday, December 20, 2021.

Glenn and Don’s arrangements are as follows:  Visitation on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. to service time, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The Rev. Andrew Green will conduct the joint funeral ceremony at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in the Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Hobeck, Darrin Hobeck, Konnor Hobeck, Zach Robinson, Leonard Weber, and Rick Green.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Francis Hospice or New Salem Methodist Cemetery Fund.
