Johnny "Shane" Callow, 58, of Millersville passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at his home.
He was born October 23, 1962 in Cape Girardeau, son of Gary David and Ella Diebold Callow. He and Renee L. Hahn were married October 15, 1983 in Pop City, Missouri.
Shane grew up in Bell City, Missouri graduating from Bell City High School in 1981. He went to Southeast Missouri State University and received an Associate's Degree in Industrial Technology. He spent 24 years working for Procter and Gamble. Shane always had a strong work ethic starting Shane's Sound System at age 13. Shane loved karaoke, cars, cooking and his dogs. He enjoyed teaching his grandchildren new ways to be ornery. Shane always pitched in where needed.
Loving survivors include his wife Renee of nearly 38 years of marriage, his mother, Ella (Richard) Mitchem two sons, Zachary (Ashley) Callow of Lee's Summit, Missouri and Keegan (Erin Ransom) of Warrenton, Missouri; two grandchildren Kenley Callow and Alexander Callow and two additional grandchildren on the way; five siblings, Cindy Priggel of Oran, Missouri and Kandy (Tim) Abner of Marble Hill, Missouri, Matt (Danielle) Callow, Ladd (Monti) Callow all of Gordonville, Missouri and David (Teresa) Callow of Cleveland, Mississippi; mother - in - law Frances Hahn and Sister - in - Law Tammy (Scott) Brown all of Jackson.
Also surviving are two stepbrothers, Russell Mitchem of Sikeston, Missouri and Scott (Naoko) Mitchem of Pasadena, California and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, brother - in - law, Marty Priggel and stepbrother Rodney Mitchem and father -in - law Ronald D. Hahn.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 1, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with Parish Prayers 6:30 p.m. followed by a Rosary.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson with Rev. Randolph Tochtrop officiating.
Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Morley, Missouri.
