Karla Sue (Brown) Huffman

Karla Sue Huffman, age 61 of Jackson, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her home.

She was born July 30, 1960 in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Lorene Triller Newell and James Bobby Brown. She married Robert Daniel “Dan” Huffman March 10, 1979. He passed away April 5, 2020.

Karla was a graduate of Jackson High School. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her yard. She also did baby sitting in her home.

Survivors include three sisters, Karen (Ralph) Green, Charlotte Kaye (Michael) Weston, and Kristie Hutson; five brothers, Victor Ken (Kim) Brown, Jeff (Renee) Brown, Kerry Brown, James Kevin (Lila) Brown, and Billy (Debbie) Newell.

Karla was also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her husband she was in death by her mother and step father, Lorene and Lynn Newell; her father James Bobby Brown; and her sister, Kathy Ann Wills.

Visitation will be from 10 am until 12 pm, Friday, October 15, 2021 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral Service will be at 12 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.

A private interment will be at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
