Keith Alan Schuessler, age 67, of Jackson passed away Monday, March 9, 2020 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 24, 1952 in Cape Girardeau to Wilbert Arnold “Wib” and Elsie Laura Koch Schuessler.
Keith was baptized April 13, 1952 and confirmed April 3, 1966 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells. He had served in many positions at the church including as a Trustee. Keith attended Immanuel Lutheran School and graduated from Jackson Senior High School in 1970. He also had attended the Rolla School of Mines.
Keith worked 25 years at Procter and Gamble. He enjoyed drag racing, playing cards, and was an avid bowler having bowled in many leagues and events. He was a member of the United States Bowling Congress (USBC).
Loving survivors include his longtime soul mate and companion of over 26 years, Nancy Riehn of Millersville; a sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Dale Bronenkant of Frohna; two newphews, Scott (Stephanie) Bronenkant and Greg (Sally) Bronenkant all of Perryville; three great nephews, Dalton Bronenkant of Cape Girardeau, Spc. Garrett Bronenkant of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and Trenton Thieret of Perryville; a great niece, Kayla (Brad) Winschel and children Axel and Luxley of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Friday, March 13, 2020 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson and after 9 am Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in New Wells.
Funeral will be at 10 am Saturday at the church with Rev. Lawrence Bradt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
