Keith D. "Butch" Beussink

Keith D. “Butch” Beussink, 65, of Jackson, unexpectedly passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at his home.

He was born October 5, 1957, in Cape Girardeau, to Gilbert H. and Beulah M. Holzum Beussink. 

Keith was a 1976 graduate of Notre Dame High School.  He worked 37 years at Saint Francis Medical Center and had been employed at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home since 2013.   In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, flower gardening and landscaping.

Keith never met a stranger, had a heart of gold, and loved spending time with his family, friends, and canine companions.  

Loving survivors include a sister, Sandy (Steve) Mize of Jackson; nieces and nephews, Dana (Matt) Reno, Daron Wilkinson, Heather (Tyler) Thompson, Jessica (David) Boyd, Garrett Mize; great-nieces and nephews, Liam Reno, Bristol Wilkinson, Cohen and Gracen Thompson, Ava, Coy, and Adlee Boyd; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Inurnment is private at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
