Lowell Masters, 88, of Fruitland, passed away Sunday, October 15, 2023, at his home.
He was born April 21, 1935, in Fruitland, to Maple and Alma Corse Masters. He was raised in the Baptist faith, and most recently attended the Cape County Cowboy Church.
Lowell and Judith Ann "Judy" Kraft were married August 8, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee.
Lowell worked many years as a driver for Rust and Martin, delivering furniture and installing draperies. In later years, he established a lawn mowing business.
Loving survivors include three children, Theresa Clifton of Calvert City, Kentucky, Jerry Masters of Paducah, Kentucky, and John Masters of Jackson; a granddaughter, Stacy Clifton of Paducah and her children, Ella and Braden Wagoner; and siblings: Larry (Gloria) Masters of Egypt Mills; Wanda (late Robert) Brown of Cape Girardeau; Judy (Murray) Dunn of Patton, Missouri; Newell (Melissa) Masters of Warm Springs, Arkansas.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. to service time, Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The Rev. Janet Hopkins will conduct the funeral service at 12 p.m., Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
